Mission
The Outreach & Events Committee shall conduct initiatives with the intent of spreading the USGBC DRC message to an expanded audience.
Aim
The goal for the Outreach & Events Committee is to proactively interact with the community at-large. The Outreach Committee intends to provide introduction to the USGBC and to offer credible environmental education to those reached through personal interaction and through radio media campaigns. We shall encourage participation through corporate membership at a USGBC national level and as individual members at a local chapter level.
Our aim is to collaborate with all other chapter committees to assist in delivering their message through a unique manner of outreach. The Outreach Committee shall encourage general membership participation in representing our chapter at the outreach events.
